Enjoy 10 snacks less than 100 calories

After UTI and Body Odor, I think it is time to lighten up a bit, and what better way to do it than with some really tasty refreshments?

But I don't want to just talk about my favorite yummies. I am going to list ten snacks less than 100 calories that you can enjoy without feeling guilty.

Without further ado, here we go.

1.Pistachio nuts
Go nuts with 20 pistachios, which equals about 80 calories. Pistachios are easy to carry around, and full of unsaturated fat which is healthy. They are also rich in fiber, protein and other important vitamins and minerals. Go for dry roasted and unsalted pistachios. (0.8 g Saturated fat, Zero Sodium and Zero Cholesterol)

2.Microwave Popcorn

Popcorn is a low calorie soothing snack. Look for brands that mention 100 calories in 6 cups. Enjoy it slowly, chewing every popped corn to feel and stay full. Rich in fiber. (0.5 g.Saturated fat, 220 mg Sodium, Zero Cholesterol and 24 g.Carbohydrates)

3. Corn tortillas with cheese
On a corn tortilla, grate some low fat cheese. Roll it and microwave it for a few seconds. This works for me with a regular "roti" (Indian flat bread). (1.3g saturated fat, 182 mg Sodium, 6 mg Cholesterol.)

4. Wholegrain crackers with cheese
Take three wholegrain crackers, rich in fiber. Divide one slice of cheese into three, one for each cracker, adding protein and calcium, and enjoy. Keeps you going between meals. (1.2 g Saturated Fat, 397 mg Sodium, 7 mg Cholesterol)

5. Almonds
Nuts are great as healthy snacks and almonds are ideal. Make 14 almonds your limit to stay under 100 calories. Almonds are rich in protein and fiber, so you won't feel hungry in a hurry. Easy to pack, no preparation involved. (0.63 g Saturated Fat, Zero Sodium and Zero Cholesterol)

6. Baked Apple
An apple needs no intro, with its reputation for keeping the doctor away, unless your date is a doctor! A healthy snack, try baked apple, packed in vitamins and fiber. Add a little cinnamon to dress it. (Zero Saturated Fat, 2 mg Sodium, Zero Cholesterol)

7. Mango
Freeze a three-quarters cup of mango cubes. Your snack is ready. And you've got a dessert and snack rolled into one, with healthy beta-carotene, fiber and Vitamin C in a 90-calorie snack. (Zero Saturated fat, Zero Sodium, Zero Cholesterol

8. Baby carrots
A filling yet healthy snack under 100 calories. Go for eight big baby carrots for Vitamin A and beta-carotene and two tablespoons of hummus (any variety) for protein. (0.4 g Saturated fat, 210 mg. Sodium and Zero Cholesterol)

9. Apple, again
Slice a medium sized apple (or three quarters cup of apple slices). Take two teaspoons of peanut butter and spread it on the slices. Enjoy. (0.8 g Saturated fat, 2 mg Sodium, Zero Cholesterol)

10. Grapes

Take one cup grapes, rich in Vitamin K and Manganese with some fiber. Eat fresh or freeze them and enjoy them. The water in the grapes makes you feel full while hydrating you. (0.1 g Saturated Fat, 2 mg Sodium and Zero Cholesterol)

There! Wasn't that great? Try them without worrying about gaining weight.

Stay healthy!
