His detractors call him a sob story specialist. I disagree totally. You ought to read and re-read Class,Doctors and Prizes (Acts of Faith is so-so). You will never forget Jason Gilbert's character,or George Keller's ,Danni Rossi's or simply Andrew Elliot's. The love story of Barney and Laura (Doctors) will stay on with you for ages. And the last scene in Prizes where the main protagonist dives off a cliff in one of his conscious moments to escape the horror of Alzeimers...Segal was a multi-layered and an underrated author of our times. He deserved much more adulation than what he got.
Loved every boo of yours Eric Segal. God bless your Soul !
